The Journal · Intentional Living
There arrives a moment when our perspective begins to shift.
It is no longer solely about, What am I building? but about, How does this life feel while I am living it?
For a while, it’s natural to gauge progress by visible achievements: the work accomplished, the goals met, the next milestone within reach. These moments matter. Ambition can be a beautiful, driving force. But a life also unfolds in quieter, everyday spaces—through the care we give ourselves, the rooms we return to, the time we protect, and the choices that align with what we truly value.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on what it means to be more present in the life I am creating. To stop waiting for everything to be perfect before I allow myself to enjoy it. To see rest not as something I must earn, but as a vital part of living well. And to understand that success doesn’t have to come at the cost of ease.
This kind of growth isn’t always loud or dramatic. Sometimes, it’s about gentle awareness—paying attention to what energizes us and what drains us; recognizing when old ideas of success no longer serve us; making mindful choices about where to invest our time.
There isn’t one single way to live a meaningful life. For one person, it might mean advancing in her career. For another, creating a peaceful home, exploring new places, or learning to move through days with less pressure. Often, it’s a mix of all these things.
That’s the space I hope Bettriella can hold: honest conversations about career, growth, wellbeing, how we live intentionally, our homes, travels, and everyday choices that shape us. Not to chase a perfect image, but to foster a kinder, more thoughtful way of understanding what we’re building—and how we want to feel along the way.
A life that holds meaning doesn’t have to shout to be ambitious. It can be gentle, purposeful, and still leave room for moments to breathe.
Perhaps, becoming isn’t about transforming into someone else. Maybe, it’s about patiently shaping a life that feels more truly your own.
